The local shell is free, forever, and it is the whole product for one person on one machine. Hosted plans are the same product running while nobody is watching: a collector that never closes, a changelog with nothing missing from it, members, and an assistant token that works from anywhere. Assessments are unlimited on every plan: they are graph queries, and there is nothing to meter.

What "local" means
The full app on your machine, not an export. Live collects against your CRM and one more system with your own tokens, which never leave the machine. The structure, the trajectory, the roster, the brief and the changelog. Collects on demand, and on a schedule while the app is open. MCP over stdio to a desktop assistant. SQLite in a folder you can back up. Install it.
What "always on" buys
A graph is only as current as its last collect. Hosted, the collector runs every hour whether or not anyone is signed in, so the changelog records every workflow switched off, every option added to a stage field and every new writer on a contested one, with the impact of each worked out at the time. On your machine it records what it saw while it was running.
